As an organization accredited by various SETA’S & QCTO we are dedicated to providing a diverse array of educational programs, including Apprenticeships, Learnerships, Unit Standard based short skills programs, Enterprise Development, and Work Readiness Programmes.

Our primary mission is to impart impactful training and support, thereby equipping the South African youth with the skills and experiences necessary for gainful employment.

With operations spanning all nine provinces of South Africa, Smart HR Solutions boasts a notable history of recruiting, training, and hosting over 3000 learners in a variety of programs. Our twelve-year journey has been marked by successful collaboration with strategic partners, delivering targeted training initiatives specifically designed for South African learners.

Our academic department is adept at executing large-scale training programs, varying from short-term skills courses to in-depth formal Learnership programs, nationwide. Our recruitment expertise extends to learners of all abilities, including those with disabilities, and we excel in providing practical training through host partnerships. Our proficiency in collaborating on special projects in the HIV/AIDS sector highlights our versatility and dedication to critical health issues.

In terms of recruitment, Smart HR Solutions brings years of experience and maintains a comprehensive database of qualified learners, both abled and disabled, for various programs. Our collaboration with government and corporate entities has resulted in numerous agreements to host learners on specific programs.

Administratively, our capacity to manage programs of varying scales is well-proven. We have consistently met ambitious targets and remained within budget. Our state-of-the-art IT, financial, and HR systems are tailored for the efficient implementation of large-scale projects. Enhanced learner management systems, customized student portals, and established standard operating procedures underline our commitment to deliver high-quality programs.

Our project management skills are foundational to our success, ensuring that all projects adhere to the principles of time, cost, and control management. This approach has cemented our reputation among partners and stakeholders.

Smart HR Solutions’ status as a level 1 B-BBEE contributor further emphasizes our commitment to empowering the black community, particularly through the leadership of black women.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Smart HR Solutions has been at the forefront of driving impactful economic and health initiatives across South Africa since 2012. Our expertise in program coordination, recruitment, training, and placement has significantly contributed to the success of various projects, particularly in sectors aligned with Economic Strengthening objectives.

Our collaborations with esteemed organizations and government departments underscore our commitment to empowering vulnerable communities and fostering sustainable development.

Below is a snapshot of our key contributions:

Foundation for Professional Development (FPD)

Since 2012, we have been coordinating FPD’s diverse programs in KZN, EC, and WC,focusing on DREAMS, OVC, learnerships, and internships.

Department of Health (DOH)

We supported DOH’s special programs and training focused on HIV/AIDS, enhancingprogram delivery and impact through effective coordination and resource management.

Health Systems Trust (HST)

Our collaboration with HST involved recruitment and employment of healthcare workers for Economic Strengthening projects such as “Health Systems Strengthening” amongst others.

Skills Panda

Provided Learnerships and Skills Programs to Deloitte, PWC and SPAR for economic strengthening initiatives.

Department of Social Development (DSD)

We assisted DSD in rolling out the “YOLO” Economic Strengthening program, handlingrecruitment and training, and ensuring participant readiness for economic opportunities.

MATCH

Our collaboration with MATCH involved recruitment and training for EconomicStrengthening programs like “AYP”, “M2M”, and “SW”, tailoring strategies to meet diversegroup needs.

NACOSA

We facilitated the recruitment of youth and unemployed individuals for specialprograms, contributing to NACOSA’s goals of community upliftment and empowerment.

CATALYST

In partnership with CATALYST, we managed the recruitment and placement process forthe JUMPSTART program, ensuring learners received the skills and opportunities foreconomic advancement.

ABSA

Our work with ABSA’s WORK READY NOW program encompassed recruitment, training,and placement, preparing learners for the workforce and securing successfulemployment outcomes.

WITS Health Consortium

Our responsibility included recruiting for TB and HIV facilities, ensuring the Consortiumwas equipped with skilled professionals for its critical health initiatives.

Think SA

Collaborating with Think SA, we focused on recruitment for special programs targetingHIV/AIDS, contributing to the nation’s health response efforts.

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

Smart HR Solutions offers an array of programs, including Business Administration, Generic Management, New Venture Creation, Apprenticeships, Learnerships, unit standard-based short skills programs, Small Enterprise Development, Internships, and Work Readiness Programmes.

Operating in all nine provinces of South Africa, both in urban and rural areas, our service is comprehensive, encompassing every aspect of a successful Learnership or Skills program. This includes recruitment and training of learners, securing host placements, and conducting thorough program evaluations.

Our programs are designed to equip learners with a robust understanding of theoretical aspects, practical hands-on experience, and insights into the demands of the working world, transforming work-related challenges into positive business outcomes. The overarching objectives of our offerings are to increase the number of unemployed learners who complete their programs, equip them with relevant skills for meaningful employment, enhance their workplace knowledge and performance, and prepare them to be self-employed if desired. Our beneficiaries include youth, unemployed graduates and learners, as well as school leavers.
